The First Pills Don’t Teach Skills Presentation

This week I had the opportunity and privilege to tell my story to the Vancouver CHADD chapter. My story is a more than two year battle against ADD and what I have done to win the challenge. In this process, I have co-written a book with my ADD Coach Pete Quily called Pills Don’t Teach Skills.

The opportunity to present my story to CHADD Vancouver was a thrill! While the start of the presentation was a little nerve racking, I quickly felt very comfortable with the crowd and began opening up on topics from my book like when I was diagnosed, medications, coaching, food, nutrition and spoke about the many things I have done in order to beat the challenge of ADD. We ended the presentation with many questions being directed my way and some great conversation. Thank you once again to CHADD Vancouver for welcoming me and listening to my story.
