Life One Year Later

As I read through ADDitude magazine, the worlds most distributed ADD publishing (print & on-line) I couldn’t help but feel a great sense of pride seeing a four page article on myself and my journey with ADD. Thank you to Carl Sherman for taking the time to write accurately and so positively. You can view the article on line

It started me on a path of reflection and I stopped to think about how far I had come. While I have dedicated myself to winning this challenge over the past few years, I couldn’t help looking back one year and notice some very dramatic and positive progression in my life.

What’s changed? I’d have to say what I do has not changed although I still try to focus on improving and becoming a better person. The real change is the end result. Today, I find myself in a better place financially, I am experiencing the most enjoyable professional career phase of my life, I have a wonderful relationship with my children and am in a committed relationship with a great woman! She can even out ski me on the mountain.

Why wasn’t this all happening a year ago? Well, in a way it was. I was working on me and improving in many different ways and that foundation for success was taking shape. With continued effort and dedication to winning the challenges I faced with ADD, the fruits of my labor are now ripe for harvest. The taste of that harvest is so sweet. Having done so much work over the past three years of my life and getting to this point, the reward of this experience is hard to describe. Trust me……it is worth the effort because life is good! If you are challenged by ADD or know someone who is, I hope my experience can offer a little inspiration and hope.
