OK, now this is an ADD storybook ending. Olympic phenom-swimmer Michael Phelps is an ADD’er!! He was diagnosed as a child. From what I’ve read and seen on TV, there were years when Ms. Phelps would hear her son’s teachers constantly saying things like, “Your son will never be able to focus on anything.”
Well, 8 gold medals in Beijing have made him the most celebrated Olympic athlete in the history of the games. This is a great accomplishment, for anyone!
More proof that, ADD can be a strength and benefit if managed and channeled properly. Well done Michael!
