BioBDx – The first FDA-Cleared Objective Test for ADHD

Here is a cool option that might help you with diagnosing ADHD in children, which has become an issue for parents and many are sceptical of the accuracy of such diagnoses. A lack of objectivity in many diagnoses leads to misdiagnosed patients. BioBDx manufactures and markets the Quotient ADHD System, a device that measures motion and attention state of the patient to achieve the most clinical diagnosis possible. It is the first FDA-cleared objective test for ADHD.

BioBDx is now partnering with well-know ADHD expert Patricia Quinn, MD to present a new ADHD webinar series. The webinars are free and registration is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about ADHD. The webinar series will be hosted by Dr. Patricia Quinn, a developmental pediatrician based in Washington D.C. She has over 30 years of experience in learning disabilities such as ADHD. Dr. Quinn has appeared on Lifetime TV, PBS and CNN to discuss girls and women with ADHD. She has produced a number of publications in this field such as her 1999 book, Understanding Girls with ADHD and her latest, Attention Girls! A Guide to Learn All about Your ADHD.

Every webinar addresses a different issue regarding ADHD and its diagnosis, treatment and appearance. June’s theme discusses the potential issues that arise when children temporarily discontinue using their medication for the summer when they are away from school. BioBDx’s webinar series occurs on the third Tuesday of every month at 1 p.m. EDT from now until December. BioBDx has launched this webinar series to educate those affected by ADHD about the numerous issues associated with it and to provide the information necessary to deal with them.
