Jeff talks about the difference between people with ADD and ADHD. Tina’s nickname is hype. She has the hyperactive impulsive form of ADD, while Jeff has the inattentive form of ADD.

Tina talks about more famous people with ADD and Jeff talks about how he got diagnosed, it was a relief. They also discuss self esteem issues. Jeff talks about coming off ADD medication.

Tina thinks we overmedicate our children and make the drone like. This is something I disagree with and is a common myth with ADD.

If the kids with ADD look too drone like on ADD mediciation, it’s usually a sign that they’re one the wrong ADD medication or have the wrong dose. So it’s important to let the doctor know how the child or the adult with ADD is adapting (or not) to the ADD medication.

Usually it takes a while to get the right ADD medication or medications and then the right dose.
