ADD & iPad Apps

Oh that iPad frenzy! What a business home run Steve Jobs and Apple hit with this product. Even my kids want an iPad, and they don’t even know why. That’s some darn good marketing.

The amount of apps now available is staggering, somewhere in the area of more than 65,000. There are even apps for learning disabilities. Many people with ADD have a learning challenge and I came across a very interesting article recently 40 Amazing iPad Apps for the Learning Disabled. While many of the apps are not applicable for people with ADD, there a few on the list worth checking out like First Then Visual Schedule, iThoughts and MyHomework which can help students with trouble concentrating keep track of their next task.
